Hanji House Timelapse

59th International Art Exhibition Venice

A few weeks ago, the 59th International Art Exhibition, curated by Cecilia Alemani and produced by La Biennale di Venezia came to an end. This Hanji House Timelapse shows the assembly of Hanji House, a scenographic structure that owes its name to the ancient traditional Korean paper made from mulberry that can be folded and refolded an infinite number of times. This timber pavilion, placed in the beautiful garden of Palazzo Contarini Polignac with a view of the most famous Venice canal, has been a success: this edition had the highest visitor attendance in the 127-year history of the Biennale Arte with more than 800.000 visitors.
